where are you spring?

for weeks, we have watched as the south was hit with "snowmageddon"

all those states who made us envious of their hot climates and non snowy atmospheres.

well, we laughed as they were hit with snow storm upon snow storm. 

thinking. finally. its not us this time. 

i guess i laughed too hard. 

because here i am. stranded in my apartment. 

and i am wishing and hoping that my job decides i dont need to come in. 

because i am not a friend of the snow. 

i can not drive in snow. 

(you would think i was from one of those states that never saw it)

so as i sit and snuggle with my puppy.

i cant help but to think of warm weather. 

sunny beaches, little dresses, and walks in the park with my puppy. 

excuse me while i day dream the day away.

sorry top fives have been mia for a couple weeks.

and as i start to watch season 5,

im back!

well, sorta. 

i am still in pa, but i will be back in new york tomorrow evening,

but i am back in blogland. 

{and no more taking 2 weeks off ever again}

i had a million blogs to catch up on. 

i still don't think i got to all of them. 

and i didn't comment much being that its been a 2 week stretch since some of these were written.

what have i been up to?

1. making fabulous playlists. imagining all the little scenarios these songs would bring me to. 

2. attempting to make a fun new journal. 

3. making rockstar husband an anniversary gift. 

{it was 6 years ago this month he asked me to be his girlfriend. swoon}

4. scrounging together the perfect package for the knick knack exchange!

5. loving my new job and realizing this is where i need to be. 

this was the missing piece.

6. compiling my final {poprocks} book swap posts. 

including all the fun spread around. and giveaway winner!!

7. birthday presents for my bestest friends. 

8. watching a ridiculous amount of lost. season 4 here i come!

9. continuing to declutter the negative forces still in me. 

we're almost there. 

10. missing new york like whoa! i wanna sleep in my bed. cuddle with my puppy and lounge with my favorite neighbor blogging and watching fun movies.

im terribly sorry....

because i have been a terrible blogger this week.

but i promise to sit down and read some of my faves later today.

i am in pa training.
working like crazy and sleeping the rest of my time. hehe.

they will be officially announcing the nominees for this year's academy awards.

i am super excited. 

because this year i will be hosting 

a red carpet, oscars bash. 

beautiful gowns, handsome boys in handsome suits. 

and even a little voting action. 

soooo from here til march, 

i will be watching ALL oscar worthy movies. 

scoping out the actors & actresses. 

listening to the beautiful scores. 

comparing makeup and costume. 

and determining who deserves best picture. 

{because my opinion matters hehe}

pieces of me {february}

this month....
{i like}that i will be starting out this month in a new job. a job that will bring me closer to a career. a job which will hopefully bring nothing, but happiness. a job that will bring me & rockstar husband closer to our goals.
{i don't like} that i haven't been crossing things off my life list lately. so this month that will all change. i am ready to start new adventures.
{i want you to know} that i could not be happier that i ran into this blogland. i have met so many great people and made amazing friends. i only hope to meet you in real land one day. thanks!
{i've planned} some fabulous birthday extravaganzas for my 2 best friends. (a week apart) yay! can't wait for the parties to start!!
{i want to say to someone special} i love you. more than words can say. more than i'll ever be able to show you. but just know that i love you with every piece of me. you are my everything. my rockstar. promise me stuck forever <3
